Get ready to build with the LC Valley
LC Valley Robotics Club is a community robotics club for middle and high school students from Lewiston, Clarkston and towns across the valley. Students from public, private and home-school programs design, build and drive real robots, with community mentors cheering them on.
- RoNex Robotics was the first pick of Alliance 7 at the 2026 Idaho Regional.
- ECH-Science won the 2025 SeaPerch Regional and finished 10th at the International SeaPerch Challenge.

About LC Valley Robotics Club
A community robotics club where students learn to Build, Program, Solve and Explore.
LC Valley Robotics Club is the home of three student robotics teams in the Lewiston–Clarkston Valley. We welcome all students in grades 6–12 from any public, private or home-school program. No experience needed.
- RoNex Robotics, FRC Team 8551, is for high schoolers in grades 9–12.
- VEX Robotics is open to grades 6–12.
- ECH-Science is an all-girls SeaPerch underwater robotics team.
Our mission
To give middle and high school students meaningful, hands-on opportunities to explore science, technology, engineering, math, robotics and technical problem solving. We believe students learn best when they can build, experiment, make mistakes and try again.

Share your knowledge: Mentor!
Mentors guide students through design, building, programming and competition. Some are engineers or educators. Others have trades or manufacturing experience, or simply enjoy building things. You don't have to be a robotics expert.
